Responsibilities include operating terminal tractors, performing inspections, and coordinating with warehouse staff to maintain workflow across loading docks.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR screening.
• Minimum 2+ years as Yard Hostler or tractor-trailer operator.
• Experience repositioning and hauling containers (domestic/intl).
• Strong mirror-backing and maneuvering in tight spaces.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety practices.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math for logs.

Responsibilities

• Drive terminal tractors to maneuver 53-foot trailers between stalls and docks.
• Use in-cab hydraulic lifts to raise/lower trailer legs safely.
• Verify trailer numbers and log movements with digital systems.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse and dock staff for loading/unloading.
• Keep yard clean, fuel vehicles, and maintain logs.
