Job summary

Cantex Senior Communities is seeking a Part-time Weekend Treatment Nurse (RN/LVN) for our Fort Worth, TX location to oversee wound care and ensure care plans are implemented as prescribed. You will supervise CNA staff and coordinate with physicians to maintain high standards of resident well-being.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and regulatory compliance, with a weekend schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing license in Texas.
• Minimum of one-year experience in a long-term or health care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of current wound care treatments and dressings.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, treat, and document residents' wounds per policy and regs.
• Prevent pressure ulcers through proactive care.
• Assist in data collection/records for QA and reports.
• Consult with Director of Nurses/Attending Physician on wound changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with CNA staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Notify physician and family of significant changes and document in records.
