Job summary

Wieland Group in Verona, VA is seeking Weekend Welders Level I-III to read shop drawings, weld components, and assemble final products. The role requires MIG and TIG welding, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a heavy industrial setting.

Starting pay is $28–$39 per hour with a $3.00 weekend differential and a Friday–Sunday shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Training for first shift (Mon–Thu) may apply. Join us to contribute to a growing metals leader.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of welding experience or equivalent trade school education.
• Capable of MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe, not yet certified for pressure-welding by the company.
• Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings.
• Proactive in solving problems and working in a team.
• Must work in a heavy industrial environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Follow production orders to prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
• Weld in accordance with company procedures and documents, meeting quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment used for duties.
