Job summary

Wieland in Verona, VA is hiring 3rd shift welders (Level I-III) to assemble welded components from shop drawings and written procedures. You will perform MIG/TIG welds, read WPS and drawings, and ensure quality while working in a heavy industrial setting.

Starting pay ranges from $28.00 to $39.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential; 3rd shift runs Monday–Thursday, 7:30pm–6am. Training on first shift is provided before transitioning to the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience or trade school diploma for Level I; MIG/TIG welding experience on pipe or vessels for Levels II/III.
• Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings.
• Capable of welding to ASME code safety requirements.
• Able to work in heavy industrial environment and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts from production orders and tack/weld components into assemblies.
• Perform welds according to company procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment assigned to the role.
