Job summary

Jump Trading Group is building world-class infrastructure to support its high-performance computing and global trading activities. You will join a globally distributed Production Engineering team and work a weekend warrior schedule with 12-hour shifts, collaborating across time zones.

You will focus on developing tools, diagnosing complex issues, and automating infrastructure tasks using Linux, Go, Python, and configuration management systems like Salt, Puppet, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux expertise and networking fundamentals are essential.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Go or Python.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and diagnose complex system issues.

Responsibilities

• Work on global infrastructure projects to support Jump's HPC and trading environments.
• Develop and maintain tooling for diagnosis, triage, and incident resolution.
• Provide on-call-style support during weekend shifts and coordinate with global teams.
