Jump Trading Group seeks a senior engineer to design and build high‑performance real-time streaming systems powering trader‑facing GUIs. You will architect data pipelines, ingest and distribute market data with ultra-low latency, and collaborate with trading, infrastructure, and support teams.

You will mentor peers and help set technical direction. The role emphasizes ownership, reliability, and maintainability in collocated, latency-sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software in performance-critical environments.
• Strong experience with C++ and Rust in low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Architected real-time data pipelines and streaming systems.
• Experience with distributed, high-volume market data and real-time streams.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, and lock-free designs.
• Experience in collocated or latency-sensitive environments.
• Experience operating, supporting, and debugging real-time production systems.
• Writes reliable, readable, and testable code; provides code reviews.
• Eager to own direction and mentor engineers.
