Job summary

Beckett House Healthcare & Rehabilitation, a Certus Healthcare community, is seeking a Part-time WEW Cook to join our culinary team in New Concord, Ohio. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, ensure food safety, and contribute to a high-quality dining experience in our skilled nursing setting.

Starting pay rate is $15 an hour. The typical schedule is two 8-hour shifts per week, Saturday and Sunday, with pay for 20 hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in healthcare or restaurant settings.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to prepare meals that accommodate various dietary restrictions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with culinary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.
