Job summary

The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Weekend Warrior Supervisor to lead the weekend nursing team. This full-time role offers two consistent weekend schedules and a generous $8,000 sign-on bonus, plus the possibility of additional weekend pay.

Candidates should have NC LPN licensure, current CPR, and prior leadership or supervisory nursing experience. We value strong judgment, communication, and the ability to support CNAs and staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide direction and support to the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the weekend nursing team.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care according to their individualized plans of care.
• Supervise, support, and provide guidance to nursing staff and CNAs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
• Serve as a clinical resource and point of support for the weekend nursing team.
