Job summary

The Greens at Pinehurst is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Warrior Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team in Pinehurst, NC. This full-time position offers 16-hour weekend shifts, added weekend pay, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations throughout the weekend.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care per individualized plans.
• Supervise, support, and guide RNs, LPNs, CNAs.
• Assist with medications, treatments, and documentation as needed.
• Monitor resident status and coordinate follow-ups with physicians.
• Communicate with families, physicians and interdisciplinary team.

Weekend Warrior Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations throughout the weekend




• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with their individualized plans of care




• Supervise, support, and provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs




• Perform resident assessments and assist with medications, treatments, and documentation as needed




• Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up




• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary team




• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination




• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations




• Serve as a clinical resource and point of support for the weekend nursing team
