Job summary
The Greens at Gastonia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Weekend Warrior Supervisor to lead our weekend nursing team in Gastonia, NC. This full-time role focuses on 16-hour weekend shifts with added Weekend Warrior pay and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, oversee resident care, collaborate with physicians and families, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Join a Great Place to Work Certified facility that supports growth.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current NC RN license (active, unencumbered).
- Current CPR certification.
- Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and guide the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekend nursing operations across the facility.
- Ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care per plans.
- Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Perform resident assessments and assist with meds as needed.
- Monitor condition changes and ensure follow-up.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and the team.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
- Ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as clinical resource for weekend staff.
