Job summary

Allied Universal in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Weekend Visitor Access Patrol. You will safeguard client sites, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service while documenting observations.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule and opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notification protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
