Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed for a high-profile site in California. The role oversees a security team on a designated shift, ensuring safety, policy adherence, and responsive incident handling.

Requirements include a CA Guard Card with training, supervisor experience, and at least one year of security experience, plus a valid driver’s license. The position is hourly with weekend coverage and an SP level pay tier of $20.28.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CA Guard Card with training certificates.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• One of: Associate’s degree or higher, military service, or police cadet experience.
• Two+ years of verifiable work experience showing customer service and security responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Direct and train subordinates on duties during the shift.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Provide productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for security personnel.
• Ensure contract training and screening requirements are met.
• Maintain overtime at minimum or predefined levels.
• Inspect security personnel and performance for quality and contract compliance.
