Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Shift Supervisor - Unarmed to oversee the security of a high-profile client’s facility on a designated shift. The role ensures safety, enforces post orders, and directs a team of officers to maintain service quality and contract compliance.

The position requires strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills, along with relevant licenses and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• One of: associate’s degree or higher, active-duty military/naval service, auxiliary police or police cadets, or 1 year of verifiable security experience.
• Two years of verifiable work experience showing customer service, poise in emergencies, and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates and oversee training for security staff.
• Cross-train officers to improve versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost-reduction measures to management.
• Suggest security surveys and updates to post orders.
• Review personnel actions for those under supervision.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and on-site training for the shift.
• Ensure contracted training and screening elements are met.
• Minimize overtime according to policy.
• Inspect quality of service and contract compliance on shift.
• Support payroll, incident reporting, and security surveys.
