TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for weekend coverage (Friday–Sunday, 8:30am–9pm). The role focuses on performing imaging procedures, ensuring quality patient care, and documenting results in Meditech and PACS.

Required graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with ARRT/ARDMS registry within 6 months, RVT & AB within 1 year, and BLS certification. Prior related experience is preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required.
• ARRT(S) or ARDMS Registry must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RVT & AB required within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Maintain responsibility for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scans document and verify images in PACS.
• Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• Demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.
