Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in Springfield, TN. This PRN role supports diverse imaging procedures and ensures quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires graduation from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with RDMS certification and vascular/abdomen specialty credentials to be obtained within specified timelines, along with BCLS completion within 30 days.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
(RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
(RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
(RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
Ensure day-to-day activities support quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
Document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
Follow quality controls and HLD procedures related to equipment and accessories.
Document patient history, including lab values.
