Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams with a focus on patient comfort and image quality. You will coordinate daily operations, supervise staff, and support compassionate, holistic patient care.

Responsibilities include maintaining HIPAA standards, adhering to infection control and safety procedures, and ensuring high-quality radiographs. The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and teamwork within a busy radiology team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT R.T. (R) certification required (or registry-eligible with ARRT within 12 months).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician order with high image quality.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations and hospital policies for patient confidentiality.
• Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment and ensure preventive maintenance.
• Position patients and use exposure factors to achieve proper results while ensuring patient safety.
• Administer contrast agents under Radiologist guidance and practice radiation protection techniques.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate department records.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and participate in ongoing professional development.
