Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time day shift. You will perform diagnostic imaging, ensure high-quality images, and support compassionate patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment operation, adherence to safety and HIPAA guidelines, and documentation of care. ARRT certification (or registry eligible within 12 months) and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited education program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT R.T. (R) certification is required (or registry eligible and obtain ARRT within 12 months of hire date).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all facility healthcare professionals and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of radiography equipment, patient positioning, and diagnostic imaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow QA guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
• Adhere to infection control, safety rules, and emergency procedures.
• Operate radiology equipment reliably and perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform radiographic examinations as ordered with site standards.
• Position patients and set exposure factors.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport.
• Administer contrast under Radiologist guidance.
• Document care and address issues in records.
• Maintain a clean, professional environment and engage in ongoing education.
