Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Proficient in Doppler techniques and cross-sectional imaging.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use EMR/PACS effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders.
• Verify patient identity and exam history prior to scanning.
• Position patients and optimize images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Educate patients about the procedure and ensure comfort.
• Follow infection control and PPE protocols.
• Coordinate with radiologists and staff for continuity of care.
