Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist for weekend shifts. You will perform MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and prepare exams, coordinating with radiologists and staff to deliver high-quality imaging.

Strong patient communication and strict adherence to safety protocols are essential. Requirements include ARMRIT/ARRTMRI certification, BLS, and one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of MRI procedures and safety.
• Able to follow MRI protocols and patient care standards.
• Proficient with PACS and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures to aid diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Maintain equipment and run QC checks as required.
• Document imaging findings and patient information accurately.
