Job summary

Parkridge Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to work weekends (Friday–Sunday, 7 am – 7 pm). The role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Diagnostic Medical Sonography education, BLS certification, and preferably one year of experience. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and education support are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required.
• ARRT(S) or ARDMS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Maintain day-to-day activities to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform surgeries and portable exams.
• Accurately follow physician orders and document exam completion.
• Follow quality control procedures for equipment and accessories.
