Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for weekend, part-time days. The role requires ARDMS or equivalent registry, patient-centered care, and independent ultrasound procedures.

You will collaborate with radiologists, maintain clean exam rooms, and ensure compliance with safety and infection protocols. Weekend shifts are paid at time and a half, with documentation in EMR/PACS and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• AR/ARDMS or equivalent registry required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform ultrasound procedures independently.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam history before scanning.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images and data.
• Document findings in EMR/PACS accurately and timely.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and privacy.
