Qualifications

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtain clinical history.
• Explain procedures; ensure patient comfort and privacy.
• Maintain accurate EMR/PACS documentation and timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with orders and protocols.
• Position patients and equipment appropriately to acquire optimal images.
• Maintain EMR/PACS documentation and patient records.
• Educate patients about the exam and maintain privacy throughout the process.
• Follow infection control standards and PPE usage.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure image quality and accurate interpretation.
