Crane operation, lean manufacturing experience and a Journeyman card are preferred; high school/GED required. Weekend shift 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 36 hours paid for 40, with occasional overtime.

Qualifikationen

• Journeyman card and 8–10 years’ heavy die experience required.
• Crane operation and lean manufacturing experience are a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain tooling per specifications.

Aufgaben

• Sharpen, inspect, and maintain existing production tooling to produce quality stampings.
• Suggest and implement improvements to current tooling.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise with production tooling.
• Fabricate production aids (chutes, simple gages, etc) for use on the floor.
• Procurement and inventory control of items needed to maintain/repair dies.
• Safely operate and maintain all equipment used in die shop.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment following 5S standards.
• Report all accidents and injuries.
• Work assigned schedule and meet attendance requirements.
• Complete all paperwork safely, accurately and on time.
