Lake Air Products is seeking a weekend shift Welder to join our manufacturing team in Vadnais Heights, MN. You will weld and fabricate metal components using MIG and TIG processes, read blueprints, and ensure quality and safety standards across production runs.

Responsibilities include preparing parts, setting up equipment, assembling components, inspecting welds, and maintaining PPE and safety procedures. The role requires 1+ years of TIG/MIG/Tack-weld experience and the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld experience
• Excellent people skills to work with leadership
• Ability to weld in flat, vertical or overhead positions
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds
• Wear required PPE
• Read blueprints and take measurements

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts per specs using measurement tools
• Observe tests on welded surfaces and ensure tolerances
• Develop templates and tooling to hold parts
• Determine equipment and welding methods based on metallurgy
• Inspect finished welds and compare with samples
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gaps with instruments
• Weld using multiple arc processes and techniques
