Job summary

Valley Craft Industries is a stable, growth-oriented metal manufacturing company with a national reputation for building high-quality material handling products. We’re hiring a Welder to join our Lake City, MN team to fabricate daily production and custom orders, performing MIG and TIG welding to our exacting quality standards.

Schedule: 3:30 PM – 2 AM, with overtime as needed. We offer a 4-day workweek (Fridays as needed), no evenings or weekends, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and a clean,

Qualifications

• 1+ year MIG welding experience (TIG a plus)
• Metalworking knowledge and quality focus
• Ability to read basic blueprints (training provided)
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and work OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Fabricate daily production and custom orders
• MIG and/or TIG welding to quality standards
• Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery
• Position materials using jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools
• Maintain productivity targets (3 cabinets per hour)
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Support light machine maintenance as needed
