Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation, or CNA, CMA, or EMT.
• CPR – Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities under RN supervision, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming and eating.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff and maintains patient safety and comfort.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly and supports unit workflow.
• Acts as a liaison between patient care units and other departments; responds to calls and ensures timely communication.
