Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA, CMA, EMT, or nursing student with one semester completed.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities under RN supervision, monitors vital signs and records intake and output.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Demonstrates flexibility and multitasks under stress.
• Prioritizes tasks and manages unit workflow with the team.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and related departments.
• Answers calls with proper etiquette and communicates information to staff/family/patients.
• Supports census, admissions and discharges as needed.
