Job summary

Janicki Industries in Hamilton, WA seeks an Operations Manager to lead weekend and swing shifts, overseeing daily production cells and up to 100 personnel. The role requires strong people management skills and cross-functional communication across departments.

The position backs up the Operations Director, mentors new cell managers, and drives continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to process standards and performance targets. US citizenship and security clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical/engineering/business degree required or preferred.
• 3–5 years of cell manager experience within the company preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for daily function and execution of production cells.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
• Backfill for Operations Director and Cell Managers during vacations or sick leave.
• Monitor and maintain key production KPIs and labor metrics.
• Lead training and cross-training for new cell managers/leads.
