Zusammenfassung

Janicki Industries is seeking an Operations Manager in Sedro Woolley, WA to oversee daily production cells and drive efficiency. You will manage resources, plan workflows, and backfill for leadership roles while maintaining high safety and quality standards across shifts.

You will lead continuous improvement, train cell managers, and coordinate cross‑cell resources, aiming to build a capable, cohesive team that delivers on time and within budget.

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor’s degree, technical engineering degree, or business degree is preferred; minimum is a high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of cell manager experience within Janicki Industries preferred.
• General understanding of AS9100 and NADCAP compliance requirements.
• Familiar with metal concepts, practices and procedures; rely on extensive experience, problem-solving skills, and judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teambuilding skills; capable of cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products, SAP or similar ERP systems.
• U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident; ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Aufgaben

• Directly responsible for the daily function and execution of production cells.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow for resource optimization.
• Backfill for Operations Director and Cell Managers during vacations or sick time.
• Monitor and maintain operation KPIs such as production LPIs and labor metrics.
• Support continuous improvement goals within various work centers.
• Train and develop new cell managers/leads and provide cross-training for those moving to new cells.
• Document lessons learned from complex or long duration projects.
• Coordinate cross-cell movement of shared resources such as metrology technicians.
