Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN seeks a Surgical Tech for full-time weekend shifts (Fri–Sun, 6:30am–7:00pm). Under supervision you support the operating room team, anticipate surgeon moves to keep procedures smooth, and uphold safety and efficiency.

Requirements include graduation from a CAAHEP/ABHES program, NBSTSA credential within 12 months (or 10 years experience), and BLS within 30 days. Weekend premium pay applies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program.
• NBSTSA credential within one year of hire – in lieu of certification, 10 years of OR experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surgical care as part of the OR team.
• Anticipate the surgeon's next move to keep procedures smooth and efficient.
