Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, is seeking a Surgical Tech to join its Surgical Services team. Working Fri, Sat, Sun, 6:30am-7pm, you will support the operating room through prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling.

This role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and efficiency, with weekend premium pay and access to retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and employee wellness benefits in a non-profit regional hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Must obtain NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential within 1 year of hire, or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI within 30 days of hire.
• One year OR experience preferred.

• Support surgical team under supervision and follow established procedures to deliver care.
• Anticipate the surgeon's next moves to streamline procedures and enhance efficiency.

We are seeking a Surgical Tech who under general supervision and according to established procedures works as a part of the team delivering surgical care. The goal is to be able to anticipate the next move the surgeon is going to make in order to make the procedure as smooth and efficient as possible.
