Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Surgical Tech to join our Surgical Services team in Southern Indiana/Louisville, KY area. You will support operative procedures under supervision, aiming to anticipate the surgeon's next move for smooth, efficient care.

Requirements include graduation from a CAAHEP/ABHES program, NBSTSA CST eligibility within one year (or 10 years experience), and BLS within 30 days. Weekend shifts offer premium pay and comprehensive benefits.

Summary Job Description: Seeking Surgical Tech! Full-Time, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am-7pm Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Services Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

We are seeking a Surgical Tech who under general supervision and according to established procedures works as a part of the team delivering surgical care. The goal is to be able to anticipate the next move the surgeon is going to make in order to make the procedure as smooth and efficient as possible.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program
• Must obtain Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) within one year of hire – in lieu of certification, 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI within 30 days of hire
• One year OR experience preferred
