Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area is seeking a part-time Surgical Tech to join the Surgical Services team. The position runs 6:30am–7pm with a weekend/holiday rotation and supports the team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Under general supervision, you will anticipate the surgeon's needs to ensure smooth and efficient procedures. Eligible candidates graduate from a CAAHEP/ABHES program and obtain NBSTSA CST within 1 year (or have 10 years of experience) and

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Must obtain NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist within one year of hire or have 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering surgical care as part of the team under general supervision.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs to help keep procedures smooth and efficient.
• Support weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Education
