Job summary

Journey is seeking a compassionate Weekend Supervisor to oversee nursing services on your assigned unit in Saint Matthews, KY. You will ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a supportive, collaborative environment for residents and staff.

Join our team to lead nursing care, coordinate resident assessments, and manage staffing with a focus on quality outcomes and resident well-being. This role offers growth within a values-driven community.

Qualifications

• RN with nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings.
• At least 1 year of nursing management experience and a current CPR certification.
• Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
