Job summary

Journey is seeking a compassionate RN Weekend Supervisor to lead nursing services on the assigned unit, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance. You will foster a supportive, collaborative environment for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes unit management, staff development, and resident care coordination with a commitment to excellence in a geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• RN with nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
• At least 1 year of nursing management experience and CPR certification.
• Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
