Job summary

Journey is seeking a compassionate Weekend Supervisor RN to oversee nursing services on the assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance. You will lead a collaborative team, make staffing decisions, and support professional development.

The role emphasizes resident assessments, supply management, and timely issue resolution in partnership with the Director of Nursing, contributing to a positive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN with nursing degree from an accredited institution and current licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
• At least 1 year of nursing management experience and an active CPR certification.
• Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring regulatory compliance and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
