Job summary

Journey is seeking a compassionate Weekend Supervisor in Ohio to oversee nursing services on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.

You will lead and develop the care team, coordinate resident assessments, and address grievances while upholding facility policies and a collaborative, patient‑centered environment. This role offers meaningful leadership that makes a difference in residents' lives.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years direct care in long-term, geriatric settings as an RN.
• At least 1 year of nursing management experience and CPR certification.
• Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
