Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network's The Villa at Mountain View in Dallas, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will oversee patient care, document in our EMR, administer medications as prescribed, and coordinate with physicians to implement care plans.

Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a valid RN license are required; we offer competitive wages, a 401(k) with match, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and oversee the provision of patient care in accordance with standards and physician orders.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and changes; document per policies and regulations.
• Document in EMR related to patient assessment, changes, and care plans.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians' orders; implement patient care plans.
• Direct, monitor, and coordinate timely delivery of quality patient care by staff.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will participate in and oversee the provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards and prescribed by attending Physician.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex's Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians' orders. Evaluated and implements a Patient's care plan.
• Directs, monitors, and coordinates timely delivery of quality Patient care by all subordinate staff.
• Ensures Patient Care Management Systems are routinely in-serviced and incorporated into the delivery of patient care.

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
