Orlando Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for weekend option coverage. The role focuses on evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team across multiple cancer care sites.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Florida licensure (provisional acceptable), and current BLS certification. CFY may apply, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and adherence to state and Orlando Health

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may apply.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or active engagement in CFY requirements.
• Maintains current SLP license in Florida; provisional license acceptable.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider Certification.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates patients, gathering data from patient, physician, interdisciplinary team, family and data sources.
• Develops treatment plans with specific goals and objectives aligned to care continuum.
• Assesses data to identify patient requirements relative to age-specific needs.
• Demonstrates competency in equipment use, care and maintenance with safety precautions.
• Re-evaluates and modifies treatment plans and documents care as required by the department.
• Ensures accurate billing and adherence to standards of practice and policy.
