Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a weekend option to treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages, primarily to supplement weekend staffing.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC or CFY eligibility, Florida licensure (provisional acceptable), and BLS certification. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, billing, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program.
• CFY may apply or CCC/CFY eligibility.
• Current Florida SLP license or provisional license acceptable.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and collects data from patients, families, and team members.
• Develops treatment plans with clear goals aligned to care continuum.
• Assesses patient status and uses data to identify age-specific needs and care.
• Demonstrates competence with SLP equipment and safety procedures.
• Re-evaluates and updates treatment plans; documents care as required.
• Ensures accurate billing and compliance with standards.
