Job summary

AMFM Healthcare seeks a dedicated Sous Chef to join Mission Prep Healthcare, a private adolescent residential treatment facility. You will support nourishment for clients and staff under the Head Chef, delivering well-balanced meals in a therapeutic setting.

This part-time, seasonal role requires weekend availability, travel to multiple local sites, and a focus on safety and dietary accommodations. A ServSafe-aligned approach is valued.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with ability to be insured.
Ability to pass background checks as required by the company / law.
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds (up to 40 pounds occasionally).
Experience in residential or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Preparing and serving lunch and dinner daily for clients and staff.
Coordinating meal delivery across multiple residential sites.
Guiding breakfast and weekend meal service procedures.
Maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
Adapting meals to accommodate individual dietary restrictions.
Managing food inventory, purchasing, and expense reconciliation.
Creating weekly menus that are nutritious and satisfying.
Keeping a respectful and positive attitude with clients and staff.
Ensuring compliance with county, state, and ServSafe standards.
