Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a closely related field is required.
• One year of experience in substance use disorder treatment is preferred but not required.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups with evidence-based practices.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Maintain caseload and provide individual counseling as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and transitions with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide crisis prevention, intervention and risk assessments.
• Document assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation.
• Participate in staff meetings and supervision to accrue licensure hours.
