Job summary

The Dimock Center in Roxbury, MA is seeking a Social Worker / Mental Health Counselor for Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS). This full-time position delivers individual, group, and family counseling, comprehensive assessments, care coordination, and clinical documentation to support clients through stabilization.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, provide crisis intervention, contribute to treatment planning, and aid transitions to ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a closely related field required.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling to support treatment goals.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups using evidence-based practices.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Maintain a caseload and provide individual counseling as appropriate.
• Coordinate referrals and transitions to appropriate care levels.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans per requirements.
