Job summary

The Dimock Center is seeking a Social Worker / Mental Health Counselor for the Clinical Stabilization Services on a part-time weekend schedule. This onsite role in Roxbury, MA offers hands-on clinical experience in a multidisciplinary setting and supports patients in stabilization, recovery, and transitions.

Responsibilities include counseling, psychoeducation, assessments, care coordination, and documentation while collaborating with a team of clinicians and case managers to help patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a closely related field required.
• One year of experience in substance use disorder treatment preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic documentation systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Coordinate referrals and transitions with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain required documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
