Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work weekends at Lakeland Hospital St. Joseph – Niles/St. Joseph. The role involves direct patient care across all ages and requires ASHA credentials and both BLS options.

Shifts cover Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with additional summer and winter holiday weekends as needed. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality care, documentation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required (CRT).
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing deficits across ages.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Document patient status and outcomes accurately.
• Maintain and manage departmental records and equipment.
• Ensure continuity of patient care through effective communication.
• Support professional growth and department operations.
