Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph in St Joseph, MI. The role supports patient education and coordinates adaptive equipment while delivering a comprehensive therapy program.

Expect 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one weekend per month. Requires MI licensure and BLS; Master’s degree preferred and driver’s license on hire. Benefits and vaccine requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
• MI state licensure on hire required.
• MI driver's license on hire required.
• BLS required (AHA) or (ARC) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
• Performs evaluation procedures to assess disability and plan treatment.
• Delivers treatment program and education to restore maximal function and modify goals as needed.
• Documents evaluation and treatment in compliance with standards.
• Instructs and trains rehabilitation staff and students.
• Participates in process improvement and program development.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development and competency.

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

Master's Degree (preferred)

Lic-Physical Therapist - STATE_MI

Lic-Driver's License - STATE_MI

BLS (AHA ARC/ABLS)
