Job summary

LifeMoves in San Jose is seeking a Part-Time Residential Service Coordinator for the Santa Teresa Safe Parking program. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming site for individuals living in RVs, coordinate daily tasks, and support participants with housing navigation and access to services.

The role requires compassion, strong communication, and the ability to work calmly under stress. Training will cover safety, confidentiality, and trauma-informed care to aid clients toward stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to respond calmly to crisis and maintain professionalism.
• Strong communication, empathy, and boundary-setting with clients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to resources as needed.
• Support daily operations by responding to needs from clients, volunteers, donors, and visitors with hospitality and professionalism.
• Monitor site safety through rounds and camera observation; report maintenance or pest issues promptly.
• Manage meals, supplies, and donations; maintain inventory and organized storage.
• Document activities, prepare rooms, and assist with welcomes, move-ins, and move-outs.
