Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Weekend Shift Shipping Associate in Farmington, MN. The role outfits you to inspect, finish, and assemble aluminum poles for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and quality under a PPE-protected workflow.

You will load finished goods and coordinate with the Shipping Lead to meet on-time delivery, while maintaining a safe, productive workspace. Hourly pay is $26.35 with a Friday–Sunday schedule from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read prints and work with drawings and documents.
• Ability to take measurements with close tolerance instruments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials to ensure quality and correct quantities for each order.
• Perform final machining, finishing, and assembly on aluminum poles.
• Drill, paint and install components on aluminum poles.
• Bundle, crate, box and wrap products for shipping; load trucks; wear PPE.
