Job summary

Valmont Industries is hiring an Outside Shipper to accurately pick, count, pack and load parts for shipment. You will operate forklift, overhead cranes, banding equipment and hand tools in a safe, efficient manner.

The role requires reading order pick lists, following safety rules, and keeping the workspace organized. Overtime may be required; you will contribute to a team focused on safe, reliable shipments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and count in English.
• Ability to read order pick lists and move tags.
• Must stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse tools.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picks, counts, packs and loads parts for shipment.
• Operates forklift, overhead cranes and hand tools safely.
• Maintains area housekeeping and follows safety procedures.
• Reads order pick lists and recognizes major parts by sight.
