Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider handling shipping operations across multiple industries. The Team Lead – Shipping will manage daily shipping activities, oversee staff, ensure paperwork accuracy, and enforce safety standards.

The role emphasizes process improvements and 7S adherence in a fast-paced environment. The position requires forklift knowledge as a plus, with Sunday-Monday shifts from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, in Shepherdsville, KY.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Team Lead will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Shipping department. Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Shipping experience in afast paceddistribution center environment
• Proven leadership experience
• Problemsolving, decision making, planning and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Able to perform at a fast-paced packaging environment
• Perform accurately under stressful conditions.
• Performing variety of duties asrequired
• Flexibility isa must: Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse
• The ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift certified a plus
• Previousexperience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
• Knowledge of SAPpertaining towarehouse activities
• Able to stand/walk forlong periodsof time
• Requires ability to stand/reach/stoop/bend
• ManufacturingEnvironment/Warehouse Setting
• Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlledenvironment
